This is why a Mom should not take a nap....

I have not been feeling very well today so I knew if I laid down on the couch I would fall asleep. That was what happened...I laid down and I was listening to the Story of Anne Frank on CD with Mackenzie and I ended up falling asleep. When I woke up the entire house was very quite and I opened my eyes and I saw Miyah sitting on the big couch and she was covered with chocolate!!! She was VERY much concentrating on smearing this chocolate cookie on her face. When she looked up she told me "Go sleeping Mama!!" and I closed my eyes and watched her through the slits of my eyes instead. She was taking this cookie and rubbing it between her hands and then rubbing her hands and fingers all over her face!!! I could only image that her hands were nice and warm and that was melting the chocolate. I just could not control myself and started laughing and then she started giggling. It was very funny!!! At least in the end she was the one who got up first and got the dish towel and started cleaning her face.

Oh yeah...everyone was home but the girls were in their room, Corey was upstairs taking a shower and Ryan was sitting on our bed watching TV.

Trevor's Hockey Game

Last night we went and watched Trevor's hockey game. He scored the only goal for his team so that was really neat to see. This was the first game that I have seen him play in. We get so involved in watching our own children play in sports that the time just flys by and we are unable to watch the other kids. I was just amazed at how big his has gotten and that he is going to be 17 years old. AMAZING!!

It is even crazier how parents get a little crazy during the games when their kids play. It was quite interesting watching everyone. I do appreciate the one parent for coming to Corey and apologizing because the kids were there. The kids did not see anything bad but that was a nice gesture on his behalf and it was appreciated.

We enjoyed watching you Trevor and that was a nice goal!

What is Mama Bug??

What is a Mama Bug??? It is a Mama that has a whole bunch of little ladybugs. I always call my girls my ladybugs and Ryan is the boybug. I have always loved ladybugs and decided to get personalized plates for the van which all the bugs ride in. We were trying to come up with something cleaver and Cayla said what about MamaBug...well I fell in love with it. I was really excited to see that it was available and now I have MamaBug plates and this picture of a ladybug on the window.

My True Love...

This is my beautiful husband of 16 years. We have been through MANY ups and downs in our 20 year relationship however we are together through and through. We have our 5 beautiful children that we cherish and love with all our hearts.
